Our 🍉 fundraiser's second edition
First of all, I have to acknowledge that I missed the ending in my last newsletter. It is –slowly– in the making, but I’ll have to keep the suspense on for a little longer to share more important things this time.
Rise Raise Riso is a fundraiser led by the brilliant illustrators Melissa Castrillon & Eva Eland . The concept is simple: raising funds for the Palestinian people suffering from hunger, death and being stripped of any normality, this time with a focus on children. You can get 12 different risograph prints in 2 or 3 colours (£25 each) or make a £10 donation and get a digital version. All the donations will go to 3 organisations: Al-Jawad camp (helping displaced children), Gaza Little Lights (supporting cases of malnutrition in children) and Grassroots Gaza (water and food distribution).
From the distance, it is also a clear form of resistance in which we can all make a difference and take a stand against oppression, false narratives and plain injustice.
